Facial Rejuvenation Therapy

Combined with a specialized traditional acupuncture treatment, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture may enhance skin, increases the production of collagen and elastin naturally, treats acne and decrease fine lines and wrinkles.

In combination with Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, patients have the option to add Celluma LED Light Therapy.

  • Very fine tiny needles are inserted into the face increasing blood flow, circulation and collagen production. Acupuncture stimulates the skin and muscle tissues. This increases your facial muscles to make them firm and improve the appearance. It improves skin elasticity and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

  • I recommend 10 to 12 treatments total, although results may vary person to person. After 6-12 treatments you may notice a significant reduction in wrinkles and healthier skin. I recommend more treatments in the beginning, for example once or twice a week. After that I recommend maintenance visits once every four to six weeks to maintain results. I can also provide you with maintenance techniques for you to do at home in between sessions.

  • Most patients experience little to no pain on insertion of the needles. Sometimes a small amount of bruising occurs as a result of hematoma, a localized collection of blood that is stimulated when the needle punctures the skin.
