Great Blue Acupuncture
Leah’s practice came about after many years of growing and practicing within the southern Maine community. Great Blue is a practice that focuses on helping people achieve a better quality of life, considering the connection between emotional and physical health and their role in each client’s well-being.
Leah Chamberlin
Leah Chamberlin is a board certified Acupuncturist through the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has been licensed to practice in Maine since 2016. With a Master’s from The New England School of Acupuncture in Newton, Massachusetts, she is certified in clean needle technique and auriculotherapy. For Leah, it all began in middle school when her mother brought her to an acupuncturist for anxiety and experienced great relief. She continued receiving and also shadowed different acupuncturists throughout school. After graduating with a BS in Business, she decided to take her education and career in a new direction.
Her degree encompasses four years of classroom and clinical training in both Eastern and Western medical theory and diagnosis. She was fortunate to have worked at Boston Medical Center in the Integrative Medicine Pediatric Pain Clinic, the Orthopedic Clinic at Malden Hospital, and various community clinics. Some of her specialty areas include cosmetic/facial rejuvenation acupuncture, chronic pain management, orthopedic style acupuncture (dry needling), anxiety and depression relief, pediatrics, and reproductive health.
Leah is passionate about helping people achieve a better quality of life. She aims to work together with her clients to regain and maintain health and wellness. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She loves traveling, playing music, singing, and going on long nature walks. It is Leah’s joy to practice acupuncture and her sincere hope to help you on your healing journey.
